Where to find online learning
Finding some great online learning resources can be a little tricky not to mention very time consuming, this is before being online it is pretty easy for just anyone to set up shop and start selling courses. But is this what someone looking to further their career willing to go for, after all they would need proper courses and qualifications.
So it is necessary to do a bit of research into what you would be getting for money, like is it done totally online or are there other materials to buy and what the total cost is going to be.
Here are some ideas:
Annenberg Media
BBC Learning
BruinCast
Chinese University Lectures
iTunes U
Learning from YouTube
MIT OpenCourseWare
MIT World - Tons of lectures from different speakers at MIT.
MITE AP Courses - Free Montrey Institute AP courses.
Open Learning Initiative
Project Gutenberg
Sofia
SWTC CourseCasts
The Open University OpenLearn
UC Berkley Webcasts
UChannel
Utah State University OpenCourseWare
W3Schools
Western Kentucky University Distance Learning Podcasts & VODcasts
Of course the main thing is that the qualifications are what your employers are expecting to see.
