RIAA affects student’s education

Eric Reed Boucher the former lead singer and song writer from the group the “Dead Kennedy’s” is no stranger to the world of royalties and rip-offs as he and his band who actually split up in 1986 were involved in a royalty battle in 1998.

As you would expect he is not one of those people who tows the line when it comes to what’s fairs etc, and what he has to say about the RIAA cannot be printed in any case, basically it involves to mafia, his views on record companies is not much better either, saying that its ok to share music from large record companies, but when it comes to the small ones leave then alone.

But its his views on education that rocks the boat, as he believes that many students are finding tough and have even had to pull out from their studies, simply because they are having to pay for the music and not download it from the internet, this money could be spent on everyday living expenses at college, but instead the record companies are demanding it in payment for music. Clearly he is not going to be very popular among the record execs.
