Bedroom studying gets lower grades

It seems that there are some things that parents are always right in and allowing the kids to have a TV, computer and games consul in their bedrooms is not the best thing when they are supposed to be doing their studying or homework, there are just too many distractions.

There have been many studies into this phenomenon which all seem to say the same thing that teenagers who are allowed to virtually live their bedrooms have a very poor diet, very low exercise habits and more serious than anything they actually tend to get lower grades at school.

This habit is growing as once people only had one TV and everyone sat around it to watch to couple of channels that were broadcasting, meals too were a family event but that has all changed now and the family although living under one roof is fragmented into singles using one house. In effect the teenagers are living alone in the family home.
