Kids vote boy out of the class

A teacher at a kindergarten in St Lucie County, USA, has allowed the children in her class to vote to see if they liked five year old Alex Barton or not. The children voted on a ratio of 14 to 2 in favour of not liking the boy.

He had been sent down to the headmasters office for something that he had done during class only to be sent back later, it was upon his return that the teacher made the other children vote.

Apparently the boy is in the process of being diagnosed with having autism; this would explain his behavioural problems.

The boy’s mother intends to seek out legal advice as to whether there is a case for taking legal action against the teacher and the school.
