School kid deterrent banned
There is a well known deterrent being used by small shops in places where there is a high rate of teenagers in the school lunchtimes and after school. It is called the mosquito as it sends out a very high pitched sound which only teenagers are supposed to hear.
This is being used to stop these children from hanging around outside of the shops and causing a nuisance to the store owners and shoppers too.
But a council in Kent has decided that this sort of deterrent should not be used anymore, after talking to the younger people in the areas affected. This proposal is being sent to the government as well in order to get these banned from all 3,500 areas that use it. School lunch time will never be the same!
