Software Company wins £50 million contract

Civica plc is a software and services company, who have just signed a £45 million contract with Sheffield City Council, as a strategic ITC partner, this is part of the city’s planned Building Schools for the Future project, a building programme lead by builders Taylor Woodrow.

The company has also won contracts with Essex County Council worth £3.3 million. These contracts mean that Civica plc will be involved in the future of education in both areas for quite a long time. There are a lot of agreements like this cropping all of the time now, millions of pounds is being spent bringing private enterprise and the public sector together on projects that are supposed to improve education throughout the UK.
