Public Sector Pay Crisis

The government is set to hold down the pay increases for public sector workers to only 2% over the next three years. This is more than likely going to cause some sort of reaction from the unions. If this went as far as it could go, we could be seeing another “Winter of Discontent” which is something that nobody would be happy with.

It’s not unusual for the education workers to react to plans like this especially when there are plans to increase the workload and with added pressure from more testing. This is bound to create some serious disruption, unless there is a solution that suits all.
