Experiments seen online

Chemistry students can see experiments being conducted on videos that are available online; this is a great idea and an excellent resource for students and teachers to use, which will compliment the lesson without the need to spend all of time needed to set experiments.

SciVee.com has been created by pharmacologist Phil Bourne from UC San Diego, he noticed that his students were getting hooked on watching videos on You Tube and realised that this could be an excellent medium to use for showing experiments. Now anyone can upload a science experiment video.

However for budding scientists, they should know that making a video is not as easy as just setting a webcam, only those videos that have good content, lighting and sound will get the hits.
