All school kids need sex education

A group of major charities and organisations have suggested that there should an effort to teach children about sex and relationships right throughout their time in the education system.

The comes when the government announce that the rate for teenage pregnancy is at the lowest for nearly twenty years, and that school aged children are being taught about relationships and sex already.

However the charity groups concerns are really to do with the understanding of sexually transmitted diseases rather than pregnancy itself, there has been a huge increase in STD’s over the past years and this has to be put down to not understanding the symptoms and how it can be spread around.
