School reports available online

it looks as if the days of the school children bring home their school reports may be numbered as there are plans to make this sort information available online.

This would enable parents to access the site and check how their child is doing at school. It will not just be the school report that parents will be able to see, they will be able to check up on the punctuality, behaviour and any other problems such as late homework etc.

But there are some problems here, the parents who do not have internet access, how often the data will be updated, and if the schools will actually allow this type of scrutiny to go ahead. Before this becomes a part of the new education system there are quite a few points that will need to be ironed out, apart from that it’s a great idea.
